FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit Program

We've been very fortunate to be able to have school in person the majority of this year and when we've had to close temporarily, internet connections at home have allowed us to continue as best we can remotely. In anticipation of this potentially being a necessity into next year, the FCC has established the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB).

The short version is that qualifying families can receive a discount of up to $75 per month for home internet services. This discount is available until funding runs out or until 6 months after the Department of Health & Human Services declares an end to the COVID-19 health emergency whichever is sooner.

The application is on the link and flyer below as well as all other info including eligibility requirements. AP&T, ACS, and HughesNet are all participating ISPs.
