Craig High School currently offers several Career and Technical Education courses to prepare students for the workplace with career-ready skills and training. They include: Welding, Advanced Welding, Woods, Construction, Emergency Trauma Tech Training, and Culinary Arts.
Students taking Welding I and Welding II will receive 3 college credits thorugh UAS Juneau. This agreement with the university is a dual enrollment and students will be enrolled in UAS welding 120 and UAS Advanced welding 175. Welding students at CHS are exposed to oxy fuel cutting, welding and brazing, TIG, MIG aluminum and steel, SMAW and plasma cutting.
