Academic Decathlon is a state and national team competition that challenges students to strive for academic excellence. It is considered the premiere scholastic competition for high school students. At Craig High School, Academic Decathlon is a yearlong elective course. Students spend time preparing for academic events by researching, studying, and practicing in seven objective and three subjective events. This course prepares students for the state Academic Decathlon competition. Academic Decathlon also prepares students for the rigors of college and provides them with the skills needed to succeed in any career. This class is facilitated by Cheryl Fecko.
